Pay to skip a timer only on seeds you would hate to leave in the dirt.
Sportskeeda’s 26 August 2026 beginner guide says you can skip a seedbed timer by buying Instant Growth with Robux, or by waiting for lightning during Rain. The universe API still lists six gamepasses (Auto Lathe, Paintbrush, Item Magnet, 2x Roll Luck, VIP, unsold 2x Walkspeed). Instant Growth is a store product like the Starter Pack, not one of those six. This page is the spend rule. Pair it with offline growth, rare seeds, and the gamepass list.
What Instant Growth actually does
It finishes a planted seed’s timer. The tree appears as if the minutes had already passed. It does not:
- Raise rarity. A Common stays Common.
- Apply Electrified, Starfall, or Moonlit. Mutations come from the hourly clock or a live host.
- Carve the log. You still swing the axe and use the lathe (how to carve).
- Plant empty beds. You must have a seed in the ground first.
- Replace offline growth. Timers already move while you are logged out.
If the store tab no longer shows Instant Growth after a patch, trust the live store and the changelog. Bundles appear and vanish. Rain lightning does not.
When paying is correct
Buy or tap Instant Growth only if all of these are true:
- The seed is Sacred, Eternal, Glow, or another S/A plant you would actually display (seed tiers).
- You are at the yard now and will chop, carve, and sell in this session.
- Rain is more than a few minutes away, or lightning already wasted itself on a Common.
- A live Admin Abuse or 2x Weekend window is open and empty beds are costing you the boost.
- You already like the game enough that Robux is not a panic buy after ten minutes (Getting Started).
If any line fails, wait. The official description already promises the lumber yard grows trees offline. Paying to skip a timer you would have slept through is lighting Robux on fire.

Rain is the Instant Growth you already own. Keep one bed empty only if you will be present for the strike. Overnight, fill every plot; lightning you will not see is not a plan.
What not to skip
- Commons and Uncommons. The timer is short. Coins from a rushed ugly log do not pay back Robux.
- A seed you will not carve. Instant Growth into a jammed lathe queue is a tree sitting on the ground.
- A bed you are about to leave. Log out instead. Offline growth is the product you already paid $0 for.

Instant Growth versus Auto Lathe versus Starter Pack
Three different skips:
- Instant Growth skips wait on a planted seed.
- Auto Lathe skips tracing on a log, at lower accuracy.
- Starter Pack dumps Coins, Glow Seeds, and a Diamond Axe into the inventory.
Do not buy all three on day one. First-week order we still like: play free, then Auto Lathe or Starter Pack, then luck before a weekend tag, then Instant Growth only on the Eternal you refuse to leave in dirt during a boost. VIP’s extra Daily Reward Token does not grow trees; claim it on the daily rewards page, then plant.
Admin Abuse and 2x Weekend
A host can already grant instant or inflated growth. If shouts are live, do not double-pay Instant Growth on a tree the command would have finished. Spend the window on empty beds, Coins at the lever, and hand-carving mutated S-tier. Instant Growth is for the hour when nobody is hosting and Rain is 50 minutes out.
During 2x WEEKEND, Instant Growth is a throughput tool: more mature trees per hour means more sculptures in the shop while the tag lasts. Still skip Commons. The multiplier does not make a bad seed good.
Woodchips and chopping
Instant Growth does not grant Woodchips. Chopping does. If you skip a tree and then AFK, you delayed the tycoon board for no reason. Grow, chop, spend Woodchips on the next bed, replant. That is the only loop Instant Growth accelerates.
Scripts that “auto grow”
Public script indexes still have zero dedicated Carve Wood listings as of 30 August 2026 (scripts hub). Pastes named for Lumber Tycoon 2 or Wood Farm will not tap this store product. They can ban you. Instant Growth is the legal skip. Rain is the free skip. Executors are not a third skip.
No verified YouTube of place 82712304391069 existed to embed on 30 August 2026. A furniture-carving or Lumber Tycoon clip would teach the wrong HUD. When $1b or a creator posts a real Instant Growth clip of this experience, it sits mid-article, one ID only.
