Workers Guide

The Roblox description for Carve Wood promises you can hire workers that work for you and that the lumber yard grows trees offline. Workers are the official answer to the search query “autofarm.” They cost Coins, they stay inside the rules, and they do not need an executor key. Read this with the Players hub, the worker roster, and the autofarm comparison.

What workers are for

A small yard already has too much walking: lever, beds, axe, lathe, counter. Six-player servers add lag. Workers exist so you can stand at the lathe — the only step with a skill ceiling — while someone else ferries logs or keeps beds planted.

They are not a second you. They will not skip Commons unless you set that (if the UI even offers a filter). They will not hand-trace a 100% Eternal. They will not read the Admin Abuse chat.

Hiring order

Spend on seedbeds first, then the cheapest worker that removes your most hated chore:

  1. Pickup / magnet-style walking (or buy Item Magnet if you prefer Robux).
  2. Chopping ready trees.
  3. Planting whatever is on the platform.

Exact SKU names can change with patches; the changelog wins if a hire button is renamed. Do not wait for a “Mythic Foreman” YouTube leak.

When to pause them

Hourly events last three minutes. A worker who chops at :00 can cut down a tree that would have received Electrified 2.2x. Pause or send them to a different job if the UI allows. If it does not, stay near the beds and physically chop only after the banner.

Same rule during live Admin Abuse: luck is landing on the lever, not on the worker’s pathfinding. You want human eyes on rarity. Workers can clear Commons after you plant the good rolls.

Workers vs Auto Lathe vs scripts

ToolLegalSkill lossBest use
WorkersYesNone on the latheWalking, idle chops
Auto LatheYes (79 Robux)AccuracyCommon queue
Executor farmNoEverythingNot recommended

If you hate the whole game except numbers going up, workers plus Auto Lathe plus offline growth are the idle build. You do not need scripts. If you like the minigame, hire workers so you can carve more, not less.

Offline growth still needs planted seeds

Workers do not plant while you are disconnected unless the patch notes say they do. The safe assumption: you plant the best seeds, then quit. Workers help while you are in the server. Offline growth helps the trees that already exist. Empty beds stay empty.

NPC customers are not workers

Shoppers belong on customers. Paintbrush and VIP change who walks into the store. Workers change who walks around your plots. Mixing the two is how people buy Paintbrush hoping it will chop trees.

Practical setup before 2x Weekend

  • Fill beds with the highest rarity you can (rare seeds).
  • Hire enough help that you can live at the lathe.
  • Clear the counter.
  • Park Coins.
  • Know how to stop a chopper when Electrified appears.

That is a worker plan, not a lore page. When $1b adds named roles (planter, carver, seller), this guide will list them. Until then, hire whatever button removes walking, and keep your hands on the outline that actually sets the price.

For the rest of the loop, return to how to play. For who these NPCs are in the roster sense, open the Players hub.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Carve Wood Admin Abuse, codes, seeds, and carving.

Do workers carve at 100%?

Treat carving as your job unless a future patch gives them a lathe skill. Auto Lathe is the paid robot carver.

Do workers run while I am offline?

Trees grow offline. Do not assume workers keep planting after you quit until a changelog says so.

Should I hire before extra beds?

No. Beds multiply trees. Workers multiply walking. Trees first.

Can workers ruin Admin Abuse?

Yes, if they chop a tree that was about to mutate or plant Commons on your last bed. Supervise the window.
