New Trees Guide

The Growth & Fortune update introduced eight completely new trees to Carve Wood. Unlike the standard rarity tier (Common through Eternal), these trees have unique visual themes, special growth mechanics, and are tied to Moon’s Store and Admin Abuse features. This guide covers what each tree does, where to find them, and how to maximize their value during 2x Weekend and luck events.

Use this page with the standard seed tier list, Moon’s Store guide, and Admin Abuse prep.

Withered Rose

A ghostly rose tree with withered petals and a dark crimson trunk. Withered Rose trees have a unique mechanic: they slowly regenerate a portion of their sale value over time, making them ideal for players who want passive income between active sessions. The tree emits a faint red glow that intensifies when approaches by players, signaling its special status.

Growth time is longer than Epic but shorter than Sacred. Best planted before logout and left for offline growth. During Rain events, Withered Rose does not receive the standard 1.5x growth boost — its regeneration is already passive and self-sustaining.

Lunar

A pale, silvery tree that thrives during nighttime conditions and Moonlit events. Lunar trees have a distinctive moonlit glow and produce luminescent fruit that boosts the sale value of adjacent trees in your yard. If you are farming in a cluster, placing Lunar in the center gives all nearby trees a subtle sale bonus.

Lunar trees interact uniquely with Moonlit weather events, receiving a double mutation effect. When Moonlit hits a yard with a Lunar tree, both the Lunar and surrounding trees receive the mutation bonus. This makes Lunar a yard multiplier, not just a standalone producer.

Magical Palm

A tropical palm tree infused with magical energy, featuring swirling leaves that shimmer with arcane particles. Magical Palm trees drop bonus seeds more frequently than standard trees, making them valuable for players focused on seed collection and rerolling strategies. Each harvest has a chance to yield a free seed of the same rarity.

During Starfall events, Magical Palm’s seed drop rate increases significantly. Plant these near your lever area so the bonus seeds land on or near the rolling platform for easy collection.

Solar

A radiant sun-themed tree with golden leaves that pulse with warm light. Solar trees opposite Lunar: they thrive during bright conditions and receive enhanced growth during clear weather. Their sale value increases when the server has multiple players active, making them social trees that reward populated servers.

Solar trees work well during 2x Weekend when player activity is highest. The multiplayer bonus stacks with the weekend multiplier, giving Solar trees exceptional value in full 6-player servers. Coordinate with other players to plant Solar trees simultaneously for maximum benefit.

Starfall

An ethereal tree covered in starlight that literally falls from its branches. Starfall trees apply a mini-Starfall mutation to nearby trees automatically, without waiting for the hourly weather event. This passive mutation effect makes Starfall trees excellent for yards where you want consistent mutation coverage without relying on the clock.

The passive mutation does not stack with the hourly Starfall event — it applies the same visual effect, but the underlying multiplier is already factored in. Plant Starfall trees in the center of your yard for maximum coverage.

Voidstar

A mysterious dark tree with purple-black bark and stars embedded in its trunk. Voidstar trees have the highest base sale value among the eight new trees, but they require complete darkness to grow optimally. Any light source near a Voidstar tree — including Solar trees — reduces its growth rate.

This makes Voidstar a specialized tree for players who understand yard layout. Plant Voidstar trees away from other light-emitting trees, ideally in a corner of your base away from the main farming area. During Electrified events, Voidstar trees receive a unique visual effect that makes them look like they are channeling cosmic energy.

Scorching Mushroom

A massive mushroom tree with a cap that radiates intense heat. Unlike standard trees, Scorching Mushroom trees grow downward into the ground rather than upward, making them visually distinctive in the yard. They have a fast growth rate but require careful positioning as they can accidentally set fire to adjacent trees during hot weather.

Scorching Mushroom trees are immune to Rain lightning — the water evaporates on contact with the cap. This makes them safe during Rain events when other trees are being struck. However, they do not benefit from Rain growth either. Plant strategically in areas where lightning frequently strikes unwanted trees.

Kelp

A marine tree found near water features, Kelp trees have a swaying kelp-like appearance with blue-green fronds. Kelp trees have a unique mechanic: they generate bonus Coins when the player is near water or rain, making them the only tree that actively benefits from wet conditions.

Kelp trees cannot be planted in standard dry areas — they require a water feature or rain to be present. During Rain events, Kelp trees grow significantly faster and generate bonus drops. If you have access to a water feature in your yard layout, Kelp trees should be part of your core farming strategy.

How to Obtain New Trees

The eight new trees are not obtained through standard lever rolls. According to the official Roblox event page, they can be acquired through:

  • Moon’s Store: Daily Gem quests offer new tree seeds as rewards
  • Admin Abuse events: Seed Crusher feature unlocks new tree seeds during live host windows
  • Luck Orbs: Collected during admin-triggered showers, these orbs contain new tree seeds
  • Special events: The Growth & Fortune event may offer limited-time seed packs

New Trees vs Standard Rarity Tier

The eight new trees exist alongside the standard rarity system (Common through Eternal). They are not direct replacements but rather complementary additions that offer unique mechanics. An Eternal seed is still the rarest standard roll; the new trees offer different value propositions through their special effects.

Think of the new trees as utility and event trees rather than pure rarity upgrades. Their value comes from passive effects, weather interactions, and yard layout optimization rather than raw sale multipliers.

Yard Layout Tips

  • Place Lunar in the center of your yard to maximize its adjacency bonus
  • Keep Voidstar away from Solar trees and other light sources
  • Cluster Kelp trees near water features or rain-prone areas
  • Put Starfall trees in the middle for passive mutation coverage
  • Position Scorching Mushroom trees where unwanted trees frequently get struck by lightning

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Carve Wood Admin Abuse, codes, seeds, and carving.

How do I get the new trees?

The official event page mentions Moon's Store daily Gem quests, Admin Abuse Seed Crusher feature, and Luck Orbs from admin-triggered showers. Check the Moon's Store guide for details.

Are new trees better than Eternal seeds?

Not necessarily. They offer different mechanics — passive mutations, adjacency bonuses, weather interactions. Eternal remains the highest raw value, but new trees provide unique utility.

Can I get new trees from the standard lever?

No. The eight new trees are obtained through Moon's Store, Admin Abuse events, and Luck Orbs — not standard seed rolls.

Do new trees stack with mutations?

Some do. Lunar gets double effect from Moonlit, Magical Palm gets enhanced Starfall, Kelp gets enhanced Rain. Check the stacking table above.
